South Africa will witness the largest annual gathering of Ferraris when more that 150 of Maranello's finest are unleashed at Kyalami on July 19.
The event will be hosted by the Southern Equitorial Ferrari Automobili Club (Sefac) and A1GP World Cup of Motorsport and marks Sefac’s 30th anniversary at the Kyalami circuit. Sefac started in 1967 and is one of the oldest and most respected Ferrari owners’ clubs in the world. South Africa’s own Ferrari Speed Demonstration event on July 19 will be run with modified 430s & 360 Modenas and F355s. Cars on display will include the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, F430s and new 599 GTB as well as the classic Ferrari Dino 246 GT, F40 and Berlinetta Boxer models. The event kicks off at 9am and activities will end at 4pm. Entrance is free and the public will be allowed to stroll among the collection of Ferraris. Food and beverages will be on sale throughout the day. Sefac will use the event, which will be sponsored by Pirelli Tyre, Vodacom, Forza Racing, Acer, Campari, Khomanani Mersey, Sela Brokers, Rosso Sport Auto, Viglietti, Morafic, British Airways and others, as a fundraiser for Cotlands and Casa Serena Italian Old Age home.
