Although the 6650 has been announced as early as June this year, it is only now that UK mobile fans can enjoy its many features and functionality as Nokia and T-Mobile have teamed up to bring the mobile handset to the UK market.
T-Mobile said that the new clamshell phone will be exclusive to T-Mobile and it was tailored to fit the network’s capabilities.
The Nokia 6650’s major features include T-Mobile’s web’n'walk service, a GPS receiver, a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash and the some other multimedia functionalities including an MP3 player and Mobile TV.
In addition, the handset’s keypad offers color-changing features for an added cool effect.
Other features of the Nokia 6650 include; a 30MB internal memory, FM Radio, microSD card slot for storage expansion, hig-speed data HSDPA data connectivity feature, a 2.2-inchTFT QVGA display, and slew of T-Mobile services.
These include; T-Mobile’s MyFaves service, Mobile Jukebox, dedicated music player key, voice activated dialing, vibrating alert, personal organizer, Java applications, 350 hours standby time, 4 hours talk time, 3G, GPRS, and video camera feature.
The Nokia 6650 is available under T-Mobile’s Combi 30 + Free web’n'walk plan which comes with an 18month contract, with 700 free minutes, unlimited texts for 30UKP per month.
